Photoshop: a software used to enhance or change pictures
Photoshop has 4 main components; a menu bar, an options bar, a toolbox, and palettes. JPEG format works the best with photograpjic images. This is because pictures in the JPEG format have been compressed. Under image, you will find adjustments that will enable you to alter the overall look of your photo such as the image size. The Window Dropdown allows you to confirm that the palettes your prefer to stand out are checked for display. There are three different types or lasso tools. The regular lasso tool allows you to create free formed lines. The Polygonal Lasso tool allows you to create any shape you desire. The Magnetic Lasso tool allows you to alter the color and contrast in a picture. The crop tool would be the one to go to if you are looking to chnge the size of your picture. There are a variety of tools in the photoshop toolbox. They are the selection tool, marquee tool, lasso tool, polygonal lasso tool, magnetic lasso tool, magic wand, move tool, crop tool, drawing and painting tool, brush tool, pencil, eraser, paint bucket, gradient, dodge burn and sponge tool, text, shape, selecting colors, eyedropper, and hand tool.
