Blog Post 1: Alleyways

In this picture the element that caught my eye was the value. The outer edge and some of the stores are darker and as you follow the road, the photography is illuminated by the light being emitted from the lanterns. Another element that is clear to see is lines. The roads in this picture are a great example because they guide your eye and give you something to follow. A principle the photographer uses is patterns. The advertisements and posters pop out and create a slight pattern in the picture.
